Most internet-based calendars are designed to gather information about you. This information is then resold to virtually anyone who wants it. Calendar Mine is designed to keep your personal information private. All your personal events scheduled on the calendar are stored in your own schedule file. This file resides on the hardware of your choice, we never see or have access to it.

There are no features in Calendar Mine, which allow us or any other third party to gather information about you, your files, or your computer.

Evaluation copies of Calendar Mine software do not contain any spyware, adware, or other programs designed to gather information about you. When you download and install an evaluation copy of Calendar Mine from our web site, the only program which is installed on your PC is Calendar Mine. This Website

When you browse our website and do not place an on-line order, you remain totally anonymous. Behind the scenes, we collect no information about you. We do not save any information such as your IP Address, which could identify you or your computer. We do not employ cookies of any kind to gather and save information about you. You are not required to register to use our site. In no case will any information be collected about you without your knowledge.

If you place an on-line order, we need to collect some information about you to process your payment and ship your order. What we collect is discussed under the on-line orders section.

We do keep some standard hit counters which tell us how many users have visited our site, and how many referrals we have gotten from other sites. However, we collect no data, which would allow us to tie a hit to an individual visitor. For example, our Hit Counters may tell us 37 people visited our site on a particular day, but we do not track who those 37 visitors were. Many websites use "out of the box" Hit Counting software which may collect and give third parties access to data about your visit. Sometimes this is done without the site owner's knowledge or permission. Rather than use such an "out of the box" product, We developed our hit counter software in-house. It collects no personal data, and only we have access to it. This helps further insure no third party will gain access to information about your visit.

On our website we have taken appropriate security measures to ensure that our site is secure and not been tampered with. We take all necessary precautions to ensure the Calendar Mine software available for download from this site is safe, virus free, and not been tampered with. When we decided to take orders for our product through our website, we spent much effort finding a method that would provide our customers with a private, secure, and reliable environment in which to place their orders. Card Service International is a subsidiary of First Data Corporation, the world's largest credit card processor. Signio is the credit card software division of Verisign, a leader in internet security technology. We strongly feel that the processing experience of First Data along with the internet security know how of Verisign, provides our customers with an extremely private, secure, and reliable environment in which to place their orders.

The only time our website collects any personal information about you is when you place an on-line order. The information we collect is necessary so that we can process your credit card payment, ship your purchase to you, and register you as a licensed owner of the our software. When you order a Calendar Mine product, we may also ask you to answer one or two survey questions. These are optional. The questions help us determine how to best serve our customers. A typical survey question may be - "What is your favorite Calendar Mine feature?".

When a customer places an order with us on-line they first fill out an order form on our site. The information collected on this form includes the quantity required, a name and address to ship the product to, an email address, and some optional survey questions. The customer is then taken to our credit card processor's secure server managed by Signio. On this secure server, the customer than enters their credit card number, expiration data, name, and billing address. If our processor approves the transaction, the customer is returned to our website, and we are notified to fill the requested order. Calendar Mine never actually sees the customer's credit card data. This data remains on our processor's secure server. By structuring the transaction in this way, we feel that you, the customer are well protected. In a conventional credit card transaction, you give your card to a clerk at a retail store. One or more people have access to your card's information before it is sent to the processor. When you order on-line through our site, no one but the processor has access to your credit card information.

When we collect your name, address, and email, we use that information to automatically register you as a licensed Calendar Mine user. From time to time we may use the contact information you provided to keep you informed about product bug fixes, new themes available for download, and new product releases. Usually this will be done through the email address you gave us. If at any time you wish not to receive such notices, simply email us at Support@CalendarMine.com and we will take you off the distribution list.
